Barton Creek, Texas

Elevated tees, some water. Trees shouldn't be a problem, just don't hit it there.

Bay Hill Club and Lodge, Florida

Flat and long, water too. Not too hard for first timers.

Bountiful, Utah

Wide fairways, hilly with undulating greens. Good course first time out.

Castle Pines, Colorado

Significant changes in elevation (hey, you're not walking it!)

Cog Hill, Illinois

Some narrow fairways and water.

Innisbrook, Florida

Medium to narrow fairways and water

Mauna Kea Resort, Hawaii

Two holes can be tough, just stay out of the lava beds!

Pelican Hill, California

Elevation changes, fairways are are fairly open

Prarie Dunes, Kansas

Open fairways, but some blind shots due to the dunes.

Torrey Pines, California

Wide fairways and long. Undulating greens otherwise, at good course to try first time out.

 

Foreign Courses

 

Banff Springs, Alberta Canada

Open fairways, lots of trees along the sides.

Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico

Flat, open and water. Stay out of the jungle!

Par three - Ocean, Puerto Rico

This is Dorado Beach, cut down to a par three. Great for beginners or if you just want to practice your short game.

Par three - Mountain

Longer par threes and some par fours.

The Belfry, England

U.S. style course, open fairways and some water. Watch out for the tree on the first Tee box.

 

Tougher Courses

 

Bighorn Golf Club, CA

Narrow fairways, significant drops from tee to green, lots of unplayable hazards (rattlesnakes)

Devil's Island

Fictional course, lots of blind shots, water and hazards, difficult greens.

Firestone C.C. Ohio

Long narrow fairways, hidden water.

Harbor Town, South Carolina

Narrow fairways with O.B. and water.

Pebble Beach, California

Undulating greens, some O.B. Stay off of the beach! Watch out for #8 and #15. Fun course to say you've played!

Troon North, Arizona

Desert course which penalizes errant shots (rattlesnakes again)

Pinehurst No. 2, North Carolina

Narrow fairways, small domed greens. You make the call.

Riviera C.C. California

Long and some fairways are narrow, tough greens.

Sunday Indoor Golf Tournaments

Golf Tournaments

Once we are in "full swing" for the season we will host golf tournaments every Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm. The tournaments will be open for all men and women golfers with a ghin handicaps. The men will tee off from the pro tees and the women from the ladies tees. The teams will consist of an A,B,C and D player per team. If you are interested in participating, please give Elisabeth a call at 207-232-3201 and she will contact you as soon as the tournament season begins.
